This is my uncle and the man responsible for my brother and i being the hunters we are today. 70 years old,.. and can still lay them down. Made a great shot on this 8 pt out of the tree he put a wooden platform in almost 40 years ago. Thats right,.. he has been hunting the same tree for almost 40 years,.. the tree has a ladder stand in it now for more comfort,.. but the old platform still shows its marks in the fork of the tree. Been alot of deer killed out of that tree,.. i'm proud he added another!! IMO,.. this is what tn deer hunting is all about,.. and i hope when i'm 70 ,.. i'll add another kill to the legend of this tree!!

I to have a farm that has been in family for years and its neat to hunt those spots where your grandad or great uncle hunted years ago and killed deer. IMO once a hot spot always a hot spot unless there has been some big change to the land

awesome... a friend from MS dad is 84. Still hunting. When it comes to ducks, he has to have them against a clear sky to see them, but when he does, he shoots better than I do with 20/20. Guys like these demonstrate what it is to love the outdoors.

That's awesome. I wonder how many deer that he has killed out of that tree in the last 40 years.
