if so what time and where at (field or woods)
i havent been seeing many i think this 3 deer a day is starting to thin them out around here anyway

We experienced some of the highest deer and especially buck sighting rates we've ever had, even though the deer population is at its lowest point in many years.

If it hasn't thinned them out it's made them more cautious for sure. I'm thinking it's a little of both.

I saw 1 mature buck on Sunday at 0653 and 2 does on Monday around 0800.

Between 4 hunters, we saw 24 bucks Saturday through Tuesday, with 8 of them being shooters.

No, but not from lack of trying! We had one 8-pointer killed and several close calls with other bucks. I had the hammer back on a 3 1/2 year-old just in time to see him take the one route I couldn't shoot. \:\( One brother-in-law missed a mature buck. Everyone had shooting opportunities.

How do you know that the population is lower than it has been in years? Just wondering. I always seem to see them in the woods and just about anywhere in Mid TN.

i am seeing deer everywhere i go every time i go. not used to this but I LOVE IT!!! \:D
