3 does/day is just fine as long as hunters are responsible with their harvests. Generally speaking, the more does that hit the ground, the fewer bucks will hit the ground.

Considering doe harvests aren't even equalling buck harvests in most Unit L counties, it doesn't look like many people are taking advantage of the limit. Because they can doesn't mean they will.

If anything I would say decrease the number of bucks allowed to be taken. I hunted Henry County a few times, 3 does a day would have been easy if I were willing..

I have never killed 3 in one day and don't want to either. I will however kill 2 and do my own processing if I'm in the mood to mess with them

Couple things:
you'd go broke paying your processor (and it seems hardly anyone on this forum self processes) which I find amazing
secondly if you do process your own. That many would become a "job". I have the compliments of full process capability. 3 a week is all I want to be bothered with. Good grief trying to hunt at the same time and work a full time job
I process my own. I just started doing that in 08 and i have had one opportunity to limit out on does and i did not, because it was before that and I did not want to pay that much. Don't know how i would like cutting up 3 deer in one day?

How many feel that the 3 a day limit on does are to much?
That is a managment decision based on regional/geographical deer densitys and general harvest trends (OH SORRY, Guess I should of said KILL trends)....
I have killed as many as 5 deer in one day...once in about thirty seconds actually....I just got tired of cuttin em up myself...more work to me than the taste of deer meat is worth...I like ribeyes better....

Theres only been 1 time in my hunting career that I've had 3 does to stick around long enough to shoot all of them and 3 deer can be alot of work or kinda expensive to have process.
