I shoot a 30-06 and I won't be home till the season opens and I got a buddy who shoots left handed(I shoot right handed) and I was gonna tell him to sight it in for me.Do you think him being lefty and me being a righty will mess the sighting up for me shooting at a deer in rifle season? Thanks Guys

Really I think zero is zero, right or left handed. Never really thought about it. I would at least take a shot or 2 when you get your hands on it just to confirm.

Scope zero is zero no matter which "handed" the shooter is. Just never let ANYONE adjust the mounting/positioning of your scope. Never works out!

Have him use a bench rest to zero it in scope zero for two diff people will not be the same. It will be close but that's a risk you and him may look they scope completely different. Eye relief and whether or not tour both squared to the cross hairs. So if its a new setup he can get it close and you fine tune it

the short version (i'm at work) Just holding the gun a little different can change your POI (point of impact). If one person sights in a gun and another uses it, the POI will be a little different regardless of righty or lefty.
How far your POI differs mostly has to do with your gun set up.
