Took this 7 point at 6:45 AM! ran about 70 yards and bedded down, I could see him with bios while watching him a 170 class buck went to attacking the downed buck!! Wow what a morning.

There are 7 pointers, and then...there are 7 pointers! Great
deer and congratulations! I haven't witnessed it myself, but I
have seen videos of downed bucks being attacked by mature bucks.
It's an awesome sight, but it ain't pretty.

Thanks!! I could not believe it was only a 7 point when i turned him over, the hunt was so quick from the time i spotted the deer until the shot, i spotted the deer walking down a ditch about 120 yards away, grunted one time he stopped next grunt he was in a full run, had to grunt again to stop him for the 5 yard shot from 35' in a popular tree, well got to get back at it!! going to hunt everyday through 11/21/10
