....my hunting partner thought different. His neck is slender but his muzzle is grey and his teeth were about worn off. Do they ever lose their teeth rather than wear them down? It is either a young buck with bad dentistry or an old one that wasn't getting enough nutrition. Live weight 140.

Hard to tell in the back of a truck, but there is nothing about that deer that looks old. Do you have a picture of the jaw bone? will need to see the teeth to get the age.

I plan on doing a european mount on it and will take pix of it once I get the hide and all off of it. Literally from what I can tell, neither side of the jaw up or down has ANY teeth. The only teeth I can find in his mouth are those little bitty ones up front.
