lol! last sat i seen 6 bucks and 7 does. all was between 945 and 1245. i hunted daylight to dark, but it was cold! sunday i seen 3 bucks and 4 does, but all was before 9. i think it was bc the wind changed to a southeast and it warmed up fast. also didnt see anything the rest of the day! the rut is on, the buck isnt stopping for nothing! would you? lol! and the does cant stop her cycle, so its going to continue. but with that said, warmer temps do slow the movement down! alot of bedding going on when its warm. and like lil joker said, you will see more deer activity at night when its warm. due to cooler temps! i do think morning hunts will still be good!

Not blaming a soul. Just asking as I had read an article about how things effect the rut and its coinciding with this weeks temps.

I shot my biggest buck last year nov 21 temp was 75 and he just came out of a pine thicket at 2:15 lookn for does,so dont let the temps bother you just concentrate on morning hunts and close to thick stuff on evening hunts.

It's only supposed to be warm til Friday...I think it will go on as usual just not as much in the middle of the day. I'm wishing for not necessarily cold weather but cool, overcast, drizzle that's my favorite.

I have hunted every morning since muzzleloader opened and have noticed a difference from sat and sun, and the last 2 mornings. When the lows were in the mid 20's the deer were cruising hard. I seen multiple bucks and does both days. But the last 2 days when the temps have been climbing fast and reaching upper 60's the deer have really really slowed down their movement. I only seen 5 does and a 7 pointer yesterday, and only 1 does this morning. I really hope tommorrow morning is better but its still the same forecast of quickly rising temps and hot middays. Really hope the next cold front is soon.
