Crap. I jumped some on the way in. I think I'm hurting myself more than helping by trying to get out there after work these evenings. I did continue onto the stand, and oh me, this stand is a grand stand for sure. I hunt it back in the summer when the leaves were full, but now, almost majestic I would say for the view. I did see what I think could have been my first coyote, thought it was a small deer to start with coming down off the ridge, then thought it was a dog, then....well, it was kinda blondish looking, had the gait of a trotting deer kinda, but didn't sniff and zig and zag like the dogs I've seen out there. Kinda nose to the ground, slow sniffing, after it slowed down from the trot that is, then just kept slowly moving on down sniffing the entire way. Oh well....
