Not to hijack UTGrads thread but what are ya'lls thoughts of the temps shutting down the rut?

I did read an article in Deer and Deer Hunting that regardless of temps hunters should be in thd woods first of November...I live by this rule.

i dont think it slows down the rut, but i do think it slows down deer movement. my property seems to have the deer moving less
