Just curious if the cancer was Neuroblastoma. My daughter was diagnosed with it. She was 5yrs old too. It Was Christmas 1999. Doctors gave her 40% chance of making it 1 yr. She's 16 now and cancer free. Has two huge abdominal scars and lost 1 kidney and some moderate hearing loss from the chemo but other than she's perfect. (as perfect as teenagers can be) I believe God has a purpose for us all but when you see Him bring our kids thru the fire like He has you know for sure He has plans for them.

Thanks for sharing your story here. My daughter has never hunted a day in her life. I Cooked up some deer meat this week; she wouldn't take a bite. (I take her shooting from time to time) She's steadier than I am and shoots much better than me. Needless to say, I am so proud of her and so thankful that God, in his Mercy & Grace, cured her.

Man I am all teary eyed and my workers are looking at me like I'm crazy!! What a story. My son is 9 months old and I cant wait to get him in the woods!!! God is good. AWESOME, AWESOME post... Thanks!!!

That's absolutely right! This time last year my little girl had open heart surgery to repair a murmer. Completely brought everything into prospective. I'm so glad to have read your story
The memories we make with our children will last from a life time.

Here's us on the anniversary of her procedure on our first hunt together. We didn't see a deer but as you can tell we had a blast!
