I hunted the perfect spot yesterday,its a wooded creek bottom with bowater pines all around,so you know the deer are gonna be there,and they was,but that isn't what makes it perfect,there was not 1 squirrel there all day yesterday!! Can you believe it! And I would have heard them to,because those leaves in that bottom was crunchy,you could hear the bugs moving in them they was so dry...LOL I've grown to hate squirrels while im deer hunting..

I have always thought it is a good sign to see lots of squirrels in a area. If the squirrels are there then that means there is food there for the squirrels and that means that there is food for the deer also!
