I like seeing all of the old bows here. There's so much pressure on bowhunters to buy the latest $1,000+ piece of action.

I have an Allen compound bow made in the early 1970's. (Allen was the guy who invented the compound bow) I bought it from a guy who knew Allen and bought it directly from him. I have not shot it in a while, and I would not use it to hunt because it's really noisy. A lot of bugs have been worked out since the early versions.

I hunted with a Bear Whitetail Hunter for over 20 years til I updated to a Hoyt Magnatec a few years ago. I have since updated to a Tital TL4 TenPoint Crossbow.
