Do you put in the stand per year? I was sitting at work today and something crossed my mind. I decided to get out my deer calendar and see how many days I would be able to hunt before season ended. I also calculated all the days I had been since it opened. I have no Vaca left, but will find a way to sneak a day in between now and the end  .
So far I have hunted 14 days out of a possible 42. I will be able to hunt another 21 and if I sneak that day 22, for a total of 36 days out of a possible 105. That is 34%. It makes me wonder what I could accomplish if I could hunt say 75% or 79 of those days? What is sad is thinking back to my college days and realizing that I did hunt that many days, but due to my lack of knowledge, how unproductive I was. Now I have more knowledge, but less time  .
How many days do you honestly put in the stand per season?

Well I am fresh out of college but haven't found me a job yet so i'm tearing the woods up ha ha. I don't put much into bow hunting but I did hunt about 8 days of bow season and did kill a 125" 10 point. As I love muzzleloader season I will probably try to hunt every day of it, and have so far. So that puts the current count to 11 days. But I don't hunt any after duck season gets here which is Nov 27th. So if I had to guess I put in about 20 days in before Thanksgiving every year.

I've put in 17 days so far this season. -will probably do 40-50 days before its over with.

I have hunted 13 days so far this season. I have averaged 225-250 hours on stand, or about 40 days the last four seasons. I am usually very exhausted, burnt out and ready for the end come Dec 31.

I will put about 40 to 45 days and then about 4 afternoon only. 5 to 6 or those days would be on the stand with my son with him just hunting. It would be nice to hunt 79 or so days. But then things like work, wife , children get in the way. lol. Wife is already given me grief about the time I'm hunting already.

i hunt at least 4 days a week during bow season. sometime everday! but once time changes its weekends for me, plus holidays and a week vacation! i love it that much! just glad my wife does too!

I have hunted 17 days so far this season and plan to make it another 20 days at least. Got a doe with my bow and a decent lil 8 pt. yesterday with the ml

the past 4 to 5 years I have hunted at least one hour every single day of all the open seasons.
