To add, a member of our club killed a magnum 145" 5.5 yr old Sunday morning in Fayette County. The buck was traveling alone, his tarsal glands were not wet/stained and he didn't smell like a rutting buck. In my opinion, he showed no signs of rutting.

Hardin County. Saw 43 does this weekend all just feeding. Saw 2 spikes cruising. I expect sometime in the next two weeks it should get good if it doesnt get too warm.

To early for any breeding activity, They may be chasing and staging but it will be at least a couple weeks before the actual Rut.

Agreed... Had one of our kids shoot a 2.5yr old running with does. Smelled tarsals, nothing. As stated before, young ones being crazy kids, big boys will get er done in a week or 2 depending on weather.
