What do you guys wear to not be so bulky when it is cold? This morning I had on a Redhead Enduraskin top and bottom, thermal underwear, regular thin camo pants, thin camo t-shirt, thin fleece pullover, bibs, coat and vest. I feel like I can barely movie with all that on. Granted I didn't really get cold but I want to be able to move. I don't really know what I could leave out and not be cold when it really cold outside. Also, I don't really know what I could substitute for any of that to make it be less bulky. I bought a pair of insulated camo pant hoping to do away with the bibs. However, dummy me never tried the things on, and when I went to put them on Saturday morning I discovered that Cabela's had sent me the wrong size. What do you guys do?

UnderArmour, Cabelas MTP Thermals, and breathable Waterproof/Windproof outer layer like Gortex. To keep my head and neck warm I had on a neck gaiter and a thermal tobagan.
That's all I had on this weekend. Not bulky at all and I was comfortable.
The wind will make you freeze.

Thermals, a great old pair of warm jogging pants, camo pants, a longsleeve shirt, camo coat. Sorrel boots(wool), winter hat. The key is to get a few packs of the hand warmers. I find that if my feet, head, and hands are warm, I can last all day.

1. Expedition weight base layer 2. Fleece mid layer Depending really how cold: 3. Dimension fleece pants and Jacket or for really cold Revolution Fleece Parka and bibs
Hot hands for boots hands and adhesives for kidneys.
This system has worked for me, but I did get a Warmbag. Haven't gotten to try it out yet, may not need the Parka and Bibs anymore.

One thing I don't really understand but don't have trouble with is my feet. I can hunt all season with my 500 gram Thinsulate Rocky's and just a pair of regular socks. I don't know there is just something about being constricted and not being able to move really bothers me.

My bulk was in my bibs and jacket. I switched to the outfitter fleece with windshear from Cabelas for my outer layer last year and that helped cut down on the bulk. Lots more freedom of movement and I don't feel like the michelin man.
