Yes! It is happening. I have seen them chasing and dropped off a buck at Adams in Oak Ridge. They are covered up with deer because of the rut. Better get out there.

Hunted Scott Cnty Sat and Sun with a group of about 8 hunters. We all saw does but did not see any signs of bucks chasing. Saw some rubs but no scrapes.

Hunted Scott Cnty Sat and Sun with a group of about 8 hunters. We all saw does but did not see any signs of bucks chasing. Saw some rubs but no scrapes.
Different parts of even counties are different i reckon. I was in scott county up on the mountain, on our lease, when i killed mine. We took 9 deer off our lease this weekend, the biggest 9 pointer was told to be in full chase. Rut activity on our lease for sure.

I observed a 8 and a 10 pt that was checked in this past weekend, neither deer smelled or appeared to be in full rut.

Blount County - Louisville Area. Seeing lots of rubs and scrapes, but no chasing as of yet. Seen a nice 8 pointer sunday morning rubbing and pawing like crazy. I'd say it will be on in a week or so.

East Fentress here, brought a nice 8 point out of a thicket yesterday morning with my doe bleat can. Yet still saw 3 does traveling together this morning with no sign of a buck doggin on em. Scrape I monitor now getting refreshed daily. I'd say its close, but not quite here.

Scrapes n rubs in Grundy Co but bucks still travelled together...close but not there yet
