Don't try to force the rut. Its Nov 7th and only just beginning to kick in in the upper Midwest. We still have the pres rut to work through.

SW TN, Hardeman/Fayette County....Not seeing much scraping activity yet and this will precede the rut. Some young bucks may be pestering does but nothing's really happening right now. Should start picking up some by the end of the week. Actual rut still probably at least 2 weeks away.

Agreed.

X3...still seeing doe/fawn groups and even seeing a few bucks still together. This weekend I seen young bucks out cruising trying to figure it all out, but the does wanted nothing to do with them.

Watched a small 6pt come up to a doe yesterday morning.. the doe started acting all crazy.. running big circles around the 6pt.. he pretty much ignored her and was more interested in munching on some ear corn..lol.. she eventually just ran off..

Just now starting to see some scrapes in south Fayette county. Saw a group of 3 small bucks busting up a group of does Sat. deer were sure moving this weekend.

seen a little in hardeman...kind of a mixed bag, seeing bucks still together, but also seen few small bucks chasing...also heard a couple small bucks grunting.
