What would you had done diffrent this weekend on the Muzzle loader hunt. For me , I would had set the blind at a diffrent angle, so my son would had gotten a shot. We had a buck come in, and did'nt see him until to late. Then 3 does did the same, came from behind us.Noticed them when they were 10 yrds from us. Man the wood were wet and quite. We were close to a thicket.We were behind a log, with a little ground blind put behind us. It work out good last year, but not saturday morning. That's hunting, and enjoyed every bit of it with with my son.

ide do nothing different. and i didnt kill a deer yet this weekend. im seeing deer but not what i want to shoot

I wouldn't do a thing different, but my brother-in-law would. If he had it to do over again, we would not have moved to another area, allowing me to kill a deer where he had been hunting.

I would have told dad not to put his chew of Red man in. He leaned to spit and 6 does took off 30 yds behind us. Dad would have told me not to stand up and put my fleece on as I spooked 3 at about 50 yds that almost still gave us a shot. We did laugh about it though as we enjoyed getting to hunt together in a buddy stand. Even though we didn't kill memories like this will stick with me forever.
