I have all my stuff washed , dried and packed in bags for this weekend. Now if I could just decide how much BOOT to wear?
Do you think that the Muck Fieldblazers will be warm enough for an all day sit this weekend?
i have other heavier insulated boots , hips, waist waders and chest waders.......
what you think....?

I would go with something heavier than the Fieldblazers for Sat morning since it is basically noninsulated. The Woody Max, a much heavier boot, is good for me down to around 24-25 deg. Below that I ramp up to a 1200 gr. LaCrosse.

Some old Georgia boots with some kind of light insulation and a toe warmer over one light pair of poly socks and one medium pair of 100% wool socks.
BTW- For several years I got free boots from just about any company. I mean even the really high dollar ones. The Georgia boots beat them all hands down in several categories, I wish they still made that style.

i think i will go with the Muck Fieldblazer for a very simple reason.......test run.
It is my determination that these style boots will hold heat much better because of how the tops hug the calf.
I will take an extra pair of wool socks so if my feet get cold, I can maybe put them on....
I also like to pack a very thin wool sleeping bag, just in case....
yep, I look like I'm going camping when i go to the deer stand...lol.
