I am still young (25) and trying to learn how to read a freakin topo map....I know where some good draws are on the land but other than that I am not real sure what to look for.On the aerial view you can see the stands we have set up on the field edges; and yes I hunt the deep woods I just prefer to use the climber. Trust me I have done my homework and scouted I am really just trying to get other peoples opinions on what they see that maybe I dont...What should I look for?! Thanks in advance....

Thanks, but I know where I am hunting Im trying to figure out what areas on a topo map to look for and why?!? I have other property but I wanted to hear what people thought looked like good spots on "my land" topo so I could figure out what it "actually" looks like...hope that makes sense...point blank I dont know how the heck to read a topo, but I want to learn.

I don't see any "huge" topographic (elevation) funnels, pinch points or gaps that might help. But from the aerial it looks like you might have several funnels or pinch points for travel caused by the creek, fields and woods.

My thoughts are key on the creek travel and then field funnels from larger woods tracts then the smaller fenceline types. The funnels that catch and connect the largest unbroken tracts together might be the best in my opinion. The smaller the area that the funnel will connect the lower it goes on my list.

Here again JMO based on the aerials, I numbered #1's my favorite to check out and the higher the number the lower on my list.

x2

Mapping Trophy Bucks by Brad Herndon is the best info I have found on using topo maps to find big buck hotspots. It is well worth the price. You should be able to find the book on Amazon, and may be able to come up with a cheap used copy. I try to re-read it most years to tweak my memory.
