How bout building the log cabin(as longhunter says). I usually build one when i get outa the truck before i hit the woods.

Go down wind to a area where you don't suspect there will be deer and bury it with a stick.
Interesting enough, my body seems to adjust to hunting season and knows when not to go. Its usually only 2 or 3 times a season at most that its a problem and then only on all day sits.
When I get home, though, its game on.

I don't think that deer relate *that* smell to people. Not every smell in the woods scares deer. But people smell definitely does.
That being said, I carry a shovel with me and bury my scat, usually in a pine thicket.

If you're going to drop a load in the woods while hunting, I'll assume that you are going to at least walk a few feet away from your stand or blind location, correct?
I mean, the anti-care-about-scent crowd surely isn't going to advocate taking a dump off of or at the base of your stand, or in your blind or directly in front of the door.
And, for that matter, non one from this same I-don't-care=about-scent-control-crowd is going to walk into the middle of their intended shooting lane, food plot, acorn spread, or bait pile (yes, you) and intentionally assemble their constitution.
So, let's just quell this right here, right now: If you are from that crowd, and you firmly believe in your cause, then prove it to us like man. Take a dump on your intended shooting lane, food plot, acorn spread, or bait pile (yes, you) on opening morning of ML season. That's right, this Saturday morning, all across the fine state of TN, take up the gauntlet and put your money where your mouth is.

Eat a bunch of prunes the night before and get up 3 hours early and hit the throne. Take a book or a nice thick magazine. Not to wipe with just that you will be in there a while. All empty after that and your good to go.
