Hey do ya'll think the bucks stand around eating acorns and asking the same questions that we ask each other?
Buck 1: Hey man, have you heard when the rut's supposed to start this year? I'm getting excited!
Buck 2: I've heard rumors, but nothing solid. All I know is that I am SO ready.
Buck 3: Tell me about it. What's up with these does, anyway? Do they think we really like peeing down our legs? Is that really necessary?
I was just thinking that the bucks themselves probably enjoy the rut even more than us hunters do. At least, they do until one of 'em steps out in front of a TNDeer member.

i bet the deer look a the internet and see that the season opens saturday, so noboby will get a deer this weekend

That must be why public land hunting is so tough. The deer read all the posts where people talk about hunting on public areas.
