I tell ya.... Im not trying to act like a old man or anything but Im 26 years old. Back when my dad got me into hunting at the age of 5, we didnt have youth days. We hunted out there when it began for everyone but Im gonna tell ya something... After reading these stories and seeing the pictures of does, small bucks, big bucks, doesnt matter... and the smiles Ive seen... Man, I love seeing kids kill deer, whether its there first or there tenth. Seeing kids harvest these deer brings a smile to my face. I was brought up in the woods. I have great respect for game and the enviorment they occupy. I have taken a lot of deer and some very nice deer, but seeing these kids do it is just absolute joy. I know how kids turn out when they are raised in a outdoors/hunting enviorment based family... They are good kids and hunting makes even more of person out them. Congrats to all the kids from the bottom of my heart. You dads, step dads, uncles- yall keep it up and keep them out there in the woods. They will cherish those memories for the rest of there life... I know I still cherish each memory of every hunt Ive had with my Dad.... Good luck to all.

When I started out hunting, the kids assumed the "bird dog" role and worked thier way up from there!,,,
