Thanks, fellas. I sure do appreciate the responses. Even though I bowhunt the entire season, it both feels good and is reassuring to my efforts to be able to take a nice, pressured buck during bow season. I plan to get right back out and see what this cold front and the ML pressure stirs up. After that, I think I'll back off a bit before the rut hits and the onslaught of all day sits.

Not asking which WMA, just was it in the East, Middle or the Western part of the state?

Definately well earned. They sure don't get big by being stupid. Great buck. There are good deer on all WMA's but a person has gotta put in the effort, and have the smarts to figure them out.
