Years ago in the middle of the day a hunting buddy of mine was set up on a big scrape.. along comes a kid who had permission to hunt the same farm, he stops looks at the scrape and lets her fly.. he tried to fill up the scrape himself.. the reason.. to ruin my partners chance at the deer.. each one had a section of the farm they could hunt.. the kid didnt know my partner was there watching the whole episode.. not only did he wee in the scrape he took his boot and filled it up with dirt leaves rocks etc.. well my buddy was pretty teed off but he never moved and never said anything.. he is the revengeful type lol.. the next day on the way into the woods he walked by the scrape heading to a new area.. he looked and it had been completely cleaned out, fresh deer tracks everywhere.. honestly I would have thought the human pee would have ran the deer off but it only made him clean it out and freshen it up with his on scent..

IMO deer can tell a difference. The actual response or an areas pressure may dictate what that deer does when it smells it but IMO they know it isn't another deer.

It's my understanding that other animals will pee in a "community" scrape. I pee in them every chance I get.

Pressfit there are many posts on this topic. Urine is urine and it's very common for hunters to pee in scrapes. Look some of them up, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The boy may have done it so that he could hunt the scrape himself

It's my understanding that other animals will pee in a "community" scrape. I pee in them every chance I get.
I had my own pee scrape going and I found a pile of yote chit in it a week or two ago.
