Years ago in the middle of the day a hunting buddy of mine was set up on a big scrape.. along comes a kid who had permission to hunt the same farm, he stops looks at the scrape and lets her fly.. he tried to fill up the scrape himself.. the reason.. to ruin my partners chance at the deer.. each one had a section of the farm they could hunt.. the kid didnt know my partner was there watching the whole episode.. not only did he wee in the scrape he took his boot and filled it up with dirt leaves rocks etc.. well my buddy was pretty teed off but he never moved and never said anything.. he is the revengeful type lol.. the next day on the way into the woods he walked by the scrape heading to a new area.. he looked and it had been completely cleaned out, fresh deer tracks everywhere.. honestly I would have thought the human pee would have ran the deer off but it only made him clean it out and freshen it up with his on scent..

IMO deer can tell a difference. The actual response or an areas pressure may dictate what that deer does when it smells it but IMO they know it isn't another deer.

It's my understanding that other animals will pee in a "community" scrape. I pee in them every chance I get.

Pressfit there are many posts on this topic. Urine is urine and it's very common for hunters to pee in scrapes. Look some of them up, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The boy may have done it so that he could hunt the scrape himself

It's my understanding that other animals will pee in a "community" scrape. I pee in them every chance I get.
I had my own pee scrape going and I found a pile of yote chit in it a week or two ago.

I have ahd one going for a month in the back of my property.... Everytime i go change the card in the camera that is over it, I take my son and we both pee in it.... Works great.

I pee in them all the time, it may not bring them in, but it certainly doesn't keep them away. I have always let it fly from my stand too, if you got to go you got to go.

Don't climb down, let it fly. The sound hitting the leaves below will help attract deer. Shot a doe once while peeing at 40 yards

I have made my own mock scrape by doing it, just because I heard of other guys on here doing it. The next day I went by it, and there was a track right in the middle of it.

PEE AWAY IN THE SCRAPES. There that settles it..  ...... Ok now we've covered the pee. Anybody took a #2 in a scrape ?? cause biglefty20 takes about 5 everymornin he tries to hunt and I figure if it'd help I'd just walk him by the scrapes up by my stand on the way to his lol lol lol

I can remember the first time I ever tried this. 25 years ago I hunted in Ms. I was setting up my stand and had to pee. There was a scrape right out in front of my stand and I was curious to see what would happen so I let her rip in the scrape and climbed up. Later that morning I had 2 different bucks come in and work the scrape. I never looked back after that.

I MAKE MY OWN SCRAPES THAT WAY TRY NOT TO PEE IN ONE THATS ALREADY GOING GOOD BUT IT WORKS WELL IN AREAS WHERE THERE SHOULD BE SCRAPES AND ARENT ANY GOOD WAY TO INVENTORY YOUR DEER WITH A CAMERA

i know of alot of people doing that, they say it makes them mad and they make more scrapes every where around that area. I just leave nature alone and it works perfect
Generally, just the opposite happens. The human-pee-doctored scrape becomes the hottest scrape in the area, and the "real" scrapes nearby go dead.
