Ok guys and gals, lets hear it. With this absolutely wonderful weather predicted for our opening ML season this year, where will you be and what's your setup look like for Sat?

I have two stands possible to hunt with the NW wind that is predicted, one halfway up a hardwood ridge that parallels a pine thicket that I've seen lots of rut activity over the years with does leading bucks thru, the other is a hardwood area on the backside of part of the same pine thicket, but lower and within sight of the bottom draw that leads around the high area of our sanctuary. Both have produced major sightings of mature big bucks over the years, so I may have to flip a coin over those two!

Im not sure yet, found a heavy scrape line last weekend but also have a good draw that we have seen a good buck in earlier this year... either way gonna be high up a tree real early and gonna sit all day.

Pike co. Illinois, bow in hand, in a pinch point where 2 ridges come together and drop into a bowl, about 200 yards from the crop fields. Good Lord willing!
