Was up in the treestand today and was looking at my shooting lanes. I shoot right handed, and my shooting lanes are L and R. So the L side is no problem, the right sucks.
My question is what can i use/ what have you guys used to steady your shot? My shooting bar/rest is right out front which doens't help me. I need to steady my shot out left and right.

Any suggestions?

I set my safety harness at the right length so I can lean out away from the tree and let the harness hold me, then my lower body is totally relaxed and stable, also you can face your stand more to your right so that your shots are either straight forward or to the right

I just bought a universal gun rest. It attaches anywhere to your stand. I thought it was a Summit but I can't find it online anywhere. You would be able to attach it to your left or right.

Found it, here it is...

wildb1--thanks. I still don't think that would be tall enough. Is there a ht extension/telescopic extension to make it taller? If there is that would work i think

For gun shootng to my right, I use a Realtree EZ Hanger. If it's a permanently placed stand, I have one on each side. I carry one in my backback for mobile stands, or stands I only hunt a few times.

I try when placing my stands to make my right and behind me real thick stuff with no shooting lanes.

I have in front all the way around my left shoulder as my huntable area.
