I have used several diffrent brands over the years, and I have been fortunate enough to have recovered all the deer. I now use the Rage 2 blade broad heads. I love the wide cut it puts on a deer, and the blood trail is something else. Just remember the most important thing, SHOT PLACEMENT. Whether it be a bow, Muzzle loader, or High power rifle. That is the key to all game recovery !

I have shot muzzy for years. If I do my part with proper placement I know it will do its part. It’s comical looking through a catalog and seeing how many different types of broadheads are on the market now. The video posted above sums up this topic very well.

Make sure your bow is tuned well, shooting the correct spine arow, and broadhead tune your bow, and you won't have to move your sights with any broadhead you shoot

With a double lung hit it really doesn't matter what's up front.

The best broadhead is the one that you have 110% confidence in at all times. Fellas we gotta remember that every animal in this country has been killed with a sharpened stone at one time or another. It all depends on proper shot placement. Take your time, practice with your broadhead and be ready!

If I had to choose a modern broadhead. Based on sales, it has to be the Thunderhead.
