It can, depending on distance an elevation. Practicing ahead of time is a good idea, then you'll know.

The best way to not let it affect your shot is to draw the bow looking staight out from the stand and then to bend at the waist to get your sight pin on the deer. If you change your normal form by putting the pin on the animal and then drawing the bow you will tend to shoot high.

I learned along time ago to aim through the deer, especially with a bow. In other words aim where you want the arrow to come out at and you will never loose another deer. I promise!

It depends,
Angle (i.e.-the higher you hunt the steeper the angle)
Distance to target (i.e.-the closer to the bottom of the tree, the steeper the angle)
In ALL of bowhunting there is TRULY only ONE factor over which a hunter has any REAL degree of control...EQUIPMENT!
One should practice with your actual hunting set-up out of YOUR tree stand with hunting arrows/heads and clothing at ALL of your effective ranges from ZERO to your maximum effective range PRYOR to heading to the woods EACH season.
My bow shoots reasonably "flat" from 10-25 yards on the ground. But when I get in a tree, at say 22 plus feet high, and shoot that SAME 3-D target at 12 yards...I will hit a couple inches high EVERY time.
Two inches does not sound like much but when you throw in a mature doe, or jumpy buck, (like at AEDC), that two inches can EASILY double and that can mean a MISS. OR ONE LUNG!
PRACTICE under actual hunting conditions.
When I set up my hunting bow for the year I like my broadheads to hit about 1-2 inches low at 25 yards from the ground. Tree stand elevation coupled with the "squat" factor means I rarely if ever miss high.
