who went for the opening bow hunt how did you do? did you see any good bucks at the checking station

My brother and I went and camped this weekend. I saw two deer within bow range and only 5 deer total. A fawn and one doe that snuck by me before I could get a shot was the only thing that came in range. My brother saw 3 I think and shot a little button buck. The biggest buck that had been killed when we left was a 10 point that weighed 97 pounds.
Overall it wasn't to good of a weekend and just about all the other hunters we talked to said the same thing.

cant wait untill the juvi,then the muzzleblaster its almost always a guarented bonus deer,i would rather hunt the swan then any place i know,ive had alot of good memories made in the swan

ive got a oak flat next to a huge pine thicket picked out for the juvi,i went in there today and it was tore up with sighn under two white oaks about 20 yards apart, should be good
