huge scrape!

while in KY this weekend i found this big scrape. every year i find scrapes down this old logging road. in years past there have always been somewhere between 10 to 20 different scrapes on this small section of the road. the road is just over a mile long but i only see scrapes on this section of it that is about 150yds long. don't know how much you can tell from this pic but this scrape is egg shaped and about 8ft long. [img] [/img] and there are 3 licking branches hanging over this scrape but i couldn't get them in the pic, one of them was twisted off. have any of you guys seen scrapes like this before?

saw one this weekend about 12'x12' with several low hanging branches. It was down in a hollow where 3 ridges come together...never seen a scrape that large and couldn't believe deer had made it.
Brother hung a trail camera there so, hopefully, we'll know more next week!! Of course, it's public land, so hopefully the trailcam stays!!!

Community scrape....I have found several over the years. Most are huge like that. Piss in it...then put a camera over it (If the camera will be safe over that logging road)

yep i have a couple like that every year, its a community scrape hunt downwind of it and watch them come in, thats where i kill the majority of my better bucks is over the big scrapes during lunch time

If this is a community scrape, then you have found the mother lode of scrapes to hunt ......according to the deer experts....alsheimer etc...........
