What are the experts opinions on use of this in your minerals? Can there be negative side effects? Does it truly work in producing bigger antlers, quicker? I have heard it is the number one factor in improving your bucks antlers.

Id say no in a free ranging herd,just not gonna get enough to make a difference,that being said,dont see how it could hurt

No proof it does anything positive. No proof any mineral additive does anything positive for deer.

We've had it in some of our licks for years and I've seen no positive results from it.

i agree with Football Hunter. i dont think that on a free range they will get enough to be able to tell a difference. imo

I add it to my own mineral mix anyway, because relatively large amounts of each element are known to exist in antler mass. Several pounds of it dissappeared through the summer; did it help antler growth? Don't know. Did it help the does and fawns who spent so much time at the licks? I think it didn't hurt, along with the other mineral package I add to the Redmond salt. The deer approve of the mix, acceptance and consumption-wise. I can't tell whether vitamins help ME, but everybody says they Do!!
It's just about impossible to say if it helps or not, since this experiment has no "control", but it certainly took no more effort, and very little expense to add it to the mix. For me, it's "Why not?"
