And shot the 13th doe that came within 20 yards of me to feed on a really hot dominant tree I was hunting. I waited till about 9:30 hoping something with horns would show up, but that didn't work out.
The spot I was hunting was about two miles from the nearest road access and up and down some major hills. I never would have found it and I couldn't have gotten in and out without the mobility of a four wheeler and a climber.
Oh, and I was wearing the same camo that I wore the day before when I walked several miles scouting, pumped gas, ate at a restaurant, then threw on the floor till then next morning.
Just sayin... location, location, location

Yep. I've had that thing since about 2000. Still runs like a champ.

And that is probably why something with horns didn't show up. lol

And that is probably why something with horns didn't show up. lol That's certainly a possibility, but I set up on the downwind side of the tree and none of the does busted me.

Congrats, if the wind is right or you have a 30 or 40 degree rise in the early morning temps I'll agree that scent isn't that big of a deal. I'm sure you would admit there is a big difference in killing a yearling doe and killing a mature buck though?
