I wouldn't join that lease, 1 buck limit, antler restriction and too many people on 900 acres are the main reasons why I wouldn't be part of it, no matter what county it is in

Sounds OK to me if your into that sort of thing. Meaning you would be happy with killing one nice buck and calling it a season. I like the 3 buck state limits.

too many good narrow bucks running around to have the spread regs. and with that many hunters the 1 buck limit is good to have.
i know the area you are in b/c i think we talked before about it on the phone and i am on a lease not too far from you. it is a great area and should produce some great bucks for you guys!

Coming from PA I saw the reward of antler restrictions, so i am a big fan! I think 3 buck limit is too high and we are killing too many young ones. If it is a good piece of property I think it is good

What is a good Acre per Hunter number?
A rule of thumb that a lot of clubs use is 1 hunter per 100 acres. It all depends on the land cover, land use and the layout of the property.

the lease that i have been on for the past 5 years have fairly tight restrictions like that too.
its 1200 acres
$500 yr
at least 8pt out past their ears
some mentioned that they have seen very nice deer with a narrow inside spread.....if its a nice mature 8pt with good mass, but hes jus a basket rack, our guys would not get tore up over, but were in the hatchie bottom, and i have yet to see a basket rack in 5yrs of hunting there
