That amazes me every year. You guys start talking about scrapes and noone around here has seen any. We are still 2 weeks from that happening.
I agree. I live in east Tn and think my best chances hunting here is Thanksgiving week. I hunt in northern middle Tn and I believe around 10 November is going to be the best hunting there. I cant say when exactly the rut is but these dates are when I have traditionally had the best opportunities.

I just got back from my farm in Meigs Co. and bucks are really getting active making scrapes and rubs. I found 5 new scrapes and bunches of new rubs some twisted and broken. On this farm I've seen big bucks chasing and looking from about Nov. 5-18. Remember these are just avg. dates. If I can go on the 4th or 19th you better believe I will.

I saw several in KY this past weekend and had 3 new rubs down a main trial that were done sometime between noon on Saturday and mid day Sunday.

That would be right on the money. Generally for Nashville and north of Nashville, Nov. 8-12 is tops.
