Just sittin here in the stand for s little evening hunting and a grey fox come browsing within 15yds of me. Had a beautiful coat with that red under belly. Just wondering what y'all thought about foxes. As for myself I think they are beautiful creatures and love to watch them in the wild. I have no reason to kill them like a yote but I know some people do. Would really like to see a red fox one day.

I have a huge red fox that I see everytime I hunt one stand...I have never thought about shooting him. He is always very sly and on alert to every sound. Beautiful animals, that being said I have a bobcat from three yrs. ago that Im waiting to have mounted...

Cool. I had a red fox come up within 10 yds of my stand once, lie down on an old log and take a quick nap! One of the coolest things I've seen from the stand in my lifetime. ;\) He awakened to the sound of a couple of squirrels coming up the ridge behind him and crouched like a cat, waiting for them to come close enough for him to pounce, but they turned away down the ridge. Very cool. \:\) I don't think I'd shoot one, unless I had chickens or something like that. ;\)
