How many of you would join a club that had the following rules:
Doe state limit 1 buck limit. 4 on one side spread must be outside the ears. 900 acrs 12 people @ $425/person
We have been building a lease for 2 years and finally are seeing some young good 6's and 8's that are only 2 yrs old. Our current rules are 1st buck 3 points on one side, next bucks must have 4 points on one side up to state limit. What are your thoughts?

I would join depending on what county it was in. But if it was pretty close to the house I would be in.

nope that is high just keep your same rules and up the 2nd and 3rd buck. That is just to high in my opinion.
Also for 425 and having to deal with 11 other people it better hold some huge bucks.

The only rule I would have a problem with is the one about it being outside the ears. I know why width restrictions are put in place, but I also know that I have a buck that scored 128 that is only 12 1/2" wide inside.
Other than that, I personally wouldn't have a problem with it.
Just a tad on the crowded side as far as member numbers go though.

I agree the outside the ears seems a bit extreme for the money

I could live with it, but I wouldn't like the outside the ears. I understand the goal is to kill older age class of deer...and this might be the most practical manner to control that. But, I have seen some older bucks with spread inside the ears. Overall, acceptable rules.
