True, but antler restrictions are the WRONG way to stop the harvest of all young bucks but allow the harvest of all older bucks. Simply learning to tell the difference between yearling and 2 1/2s (easily done) is the right way.



it is definately not the "wrong" way to do it. some people will argue all day about the age of a deer. i personally dont think that age is a good enough defined line on weather to kill or let walk. if it aint past its ears and dont have 8pts, then dont shoot him....thats easy enough. what regulations do yall go by on the place you hunt? jus curious
