Just sittin here in the stand for s little evening hunting and a grey fox come browsing within 15yds of me. Had a beautiful coat with that red under belly. Just wondering what y'all thought about foxes. As for myself I think they are beautiful creatures and love to watch them in the wild. I have no reason to kill them like a yote but I know some people do. Would really like to see a red fox one day.

I have a huge red fox that I see everytime I hunt one stand...I have never thought about shooting him. He is always very sly and on alert to every sound. Beautiful animals, that being said I have a bobcat from three yrs. ago that Im waiting to have mounted...

Glad u didn't shoot. They are beautiful. We use to call and kill them when their fur was high. They are not in season till mid november

i wouldnt kill one here in tn, but in Maine i do, they are really hard on the grouse, and there everywhere

i seen a red fox a couple of weeks ago while in the stand pretty but had a slight hobble while walking
