Now you know what it is like to hunt Percy Priest. being much of it si close to 840 you usually can't hear the deer. Just have to be alert and keep your eyes open. ;\)

It was the same for me this mornin about 9am. Before that it wasn't to windy. Saw deer all over the place today. Just couldn't get a clean shot at one.

I have seen alot of deer in strong winds, especially during the rut. has no ill effects upon them whatsoever as to what i have witnessed.

I have seen deer while huntting windy days just not as many. Don't think it has so much to do with the deer as it dose the fact. I can't spot them or hear them as easy as if the woods were steal.
