Went hunting this morning and noticed that some slimeballs cut the cable to the lease entrance. Later on, noticed that they stole the following: - Brand new Hughes box blind and tower - King Kutter pull behind disc - Two climbing sticks - Two lock on tree stands - Moultrie camo game camera
If anyone sees this equipment for sale or listed anywhere, please let me know. I will catch these idiots in time. They are going to suffer some day as we all know. All equipment was cabled and locked. Wrecked my whole season.

That's felony theft, I would definitely file a report with the Sheriff's Dept in case it does show up.

I think with deer hunting equipment, you'll sometimes find that people steal for more than just the 'common thief modus operandi.
Some of us are in denial that it could be other hunters.
Most crackhead types could care less about big bulky tower deerstands, large equipment, etc. They go for easily pawnable items.
It takes all kinds to be a thief. Some would steal hunting equipment because they think it gives their selfish confidence that it will help their success by robbing you of your ability to hunt the same animals.
Then, some of this may be someone that feels they were 'wronged' on a lease, or was denied hunting privileges or used to hunt that land before.
Some are just mentally disturbed, greedy, or flat out want to flip the stuff because it's there for the taking.
I'd be driving around scoping people's backyards for a 3-5 mile radius.

This is bad. We have had same thing happen over past 5 years. About 5 ladder stands and 4 trail camera's. We keep on trying to improve security but it is impossible to keep people out of an area if you don't live on it.

I forgot to mention that all of it is worth about $1,600......Ouch! Maybe if I am lucky, they are hunters. Hopefully they use the treestands that they stole without safety equipment and fall and break a leg or arm. Still wouldn't be justice, but a start.

That's some serious theft. Its so specific that they must be hunters. I wonder if they scouted it out before they stold all of that. Sounds like they would have needed a trailer.

I agree totally - it is hard to keep an eye on things if you live off-site. I wanted to buy a small building to put on my land to store hunting gear and stuff for my food plots, but a lone shed on vacant land is just too tempting for theives these days.
