I am new to tn. I came from washington state last fall and this is my first year to hunt here.I bowhunt deer and cant seem to find many places to hunt. Im laid off and cant afford a lease, does anyone know where I can go.I went to lebanon state forest and everything in the 3 sq miles to hunt has a bullet hole in it,also went to lbl but it is a little far for an afternoon hunt, anything closer to nashville would be great I also have a boat if I can get access that way. Thanks

Percy Priest is close to you and offers a variety of hunting, particularly with a boat. Download the Google Earth public lands boundaries from the TWRA website.

You might want to try Yanahli ,Beaver Dam,or Eagle Creek.It's alittle late this season next year try some of the Quota hunts. Maybe AEDC.

If you have a boat OLD Hickory WMA is another option. Alot of that land is hard to get to without a boat. Some of the deer hang out on the islands.
