This is true, but Montgomery county would have to be my first pick in the state. Alot of the KY genetics are trickling down into the border counties, also Sumner and robertson produce some studs! Of course if the limit would go down to one buck statewide or start the transition with two bucks every county in the state would have plenty of world class bucks!

i compare the ongoing soil, food, and habitate debate to baseball players (or any sport for that matter). every now and again a superstar will emerge from a small town that is not known for being a baseball mecca, but a traditional baseball rich area like east cobb will produce handfulls of these same caliber players every year. a player from this small town could have the potential talent to compete with players from east cobb, but it is crazy to think that all players from this small town will be given the resources to develop this talent into production...

not sure if that typed out as clear as it went throuh my head, but i guess everyone will let me know one way or another...

You need to add in Williamson Co also. There are always bigguns killed in that county.

how bout Overton?

I had a nice one in Fayette County that disappeared before muzzleloader season in '08. I figured the road frontage on the farm was my biggest problem.
