I agree. Several people I talked with about this buck appeared to be both surprised and grateful that a deer this caliber was grown right here in west Tennessee.

As bad as the situation is, think about this: This is a world class buck, killed right here in our area. No more soil, habitat, arguments? Nah, but still an awesome confidence builder for the state.

there is big deer in hardeman and fayette for sure Yea, there are some true giants taken in those two counties every year.
Very true...some great big buck counties. Along with some others in the state like Montgomery and Fentress.

i would wager that there are deer like that in every county in the state.

In my opinion, there are more big bucks (130 class or higher) in fayette and hardeman county than anywhere else in the state.

In my opinion, there are more big bucks (130 class or higher) in fayette and hardeman county than anywhere else in the state.
You need to add in Williamson Co also. There are always bigguns killed in that county.

I was thinking the exact thing this morning MUP. Just goes to show what kind of deer we are capable of producing through good management. Just hate how he was harvested.
