Bad luck 5 days before LBL youth hunt........

I was planing on taking my daughter to LBL for the youth hunt this weekend. I went up and scouted last weekend and had a good spot picked out for us to get. Then the bad luck struck sunday, she broke a bone in her foot at gymnastics sunday afternoon.
She says she still wants to go, I guess we will have to see later in the week. She is doing good with it so far, its just a hair line fracture. They have her wearing a protective boot. If I decide to take her it will have to be real close to a road. If anyone knows a good road crossing in area 16. I would be thankful to hear about it. THANKS.....

Good luck and hope you find a good spot.... Never hunted that area...

Thanks, I'm really not worried about her taking a deer. It would be nice to see a few though. Just mainly want to spend a couple days with her away from the t.v., computer,cell phone, etc. She will be 14 in a few months and shes growing up to fast.

I see what i can do for ya.I live by area 16.I will do some scouting this week and let you know what i find out.I will evan take you to the spot if i have to.When it comes to kids hunting will do what ever it takes to help.

Thanks, I know 16 pretty good, just nothing close to the roads. I usually try and get as far back in there as I can. I know of a pond thats fairly close to a road. If all else falls we will just set up on the back side of the pond. Don't go out of your way to scout out a spot. It will be later in the week before we decide if she gets to go or not. Don't want to do anymore damage to her hurt foot. We still got to be cleared by the boss(my wife)anyway.  I really appreciate it Tophat.

No problem man i got that area for my hunt in nov.may have to ask u to help me lol.Just let me know man i am going to scout wed.for sure and maybe thursday.

Yeah, she goes with me quite abit during the season. If she can't go my youngest daughter will go in her place. Both got drawed for area 16. I was just planing on taking the oldest to LBL and the youngest during the statewide youth hunt. My oldest is a fair weather hunter when it gets cold she doesn't want to get out of bed. LOL........
