I use the summit open shot. It is tiny and only weighs 14 or 15 lbs. But if you have any fear of heights it ain't for u

I like the Titan I have, but well out of what you suggested. I never feared falling out of a stand, it was the sudden stop at the end.

Ol-man,love mine very comfortable .I use the foot rest when bow hunting ,so you don't have any obstructions.I also use it during gun season and rest off my knee super steady.If I bought a new stand tommorrow it would be another old-man...

I hope you get the deer stand that you want for less than $200, but if you don't get it in time for your next hunt.....deer can actually be killed from the ground...believe it or not.
I am sorry for your loss due to low life, but you don't have to rush things. Look around and you might find a super tree stand for less than $100 dollars. It doesn't have to be a new "mall" priced stand.

just bought a new 2010 summit viper ss on ebay for 227$ no sales tax free shipping. After tax at bass pro that stand is over 300$. plenty of stands on ebay for a good price. just buy from a power seller. good luck
