I know there are a ton of rage users on here...myself included but it seems like there have been a lot of cases where the broadheads are not working as they should...
are there any Grim reaper users in here? your thoughts on them?

Killed a doe with them last year...they work! Right on with my field points for accuracy.
Not using them this year after the debate over what was legal. Switched to the NAP Hellrazor fixed blade, which fly very well also. Hopefully, I'll see a deer soon and tell you how they work.

I have used the grim reapers and will continue! I really believe they are one of the best broadheads out there. they fly just like field points, and open everytime. i have had complete pass through out the front shoulder bone. Even shot a few turkey and they opened on those as well. Most deer are found with in 60yrds.

I bet they are illegal,don't want to start anything but the 3 blade fall into the same category as the RAGE.
They must be at least 90 degrees or they are considered barbed.

I shoot the Original Grim Reapers and never had any problems.

There are several posts about what's legal for broadhead's on the forum this year. There's one in the TWRA section where someone asked about the legailty of the Rage 3-blade. The TWRA officer looked at it and stated in his opinion it was a barbed head and therefore illegal.
Lots of forum arguments later, I decided instead of having any questions about legality, I'd just switch to a fixed blade.

I don't believe they are considered barbed because when/if you pull them out of an animal they retract completely for easy arrow removal, but that is something for the TWRA to decide.
They did say 3 blade Rage ILLEGAL, 2 blade legal.

I have taken several deer and hogs with the reapers. They are tough as nails and spot on accurate. Never had one break or fail. Never had any game go over 75 yards. Will cont to use them where I hunt in MS and will also cont to use them in teh state of TN.
