I have shot the rage. Not a fan of them. Have not shot the reapers so I don't know about them. Its meat seekers for me!

All you "rage haters" are funny. I've never killed a deer with one, but if you are losing deer, then it's not the broadhead's fault; it's yours. All of the broadheads on the market are plenty capable of killing, but all the dudes shooting them are not. The rage is no exception.
Put them where they're supposed to go and they'll cause as much or more damage than other heads. Unless you've failed to remove target foam from inside the rage head, or you are using the blue practice head, then they aren't going to fail--but you still might.

TWRA Region II office told me they are banning any broadhead that does not retract upon extraction...i.e. if the blades can fold up pulling through the hide they are legal.

I love the grim reapers, I havent lost one single deer, they have even went through the front shoulder bone and busted the bone in pieces and still went all the way through.if they are illegal why do they still sale them at hunting stores? The angle shots, not a problem for the reapers.

I have shot both and both have their advantages but i switched to the new G5 T3s they are awesome i have already shot two does with them and neither went 20 yards. i had trouble with the rages opening in flight and the reapers not always opening up and sometimes the blades would flop around before i even hunted or shot them. there is a reason why you cant find the t3s in stores anywhere right now!!!!

I love the Reapers. Killed 6 deer with them and never had a broadhead failure or a deer run over 60 yards. According to the TWRA's description the Grim Reapers are perfectly legal IMO.
