I got my Summit Viper last season. Last season was my first season to bow hunt and use a climbing stand.
This season I am really appreciating the portability, comfort, and safety of my climber.
I can get into a spot quickly, climb quietly, and leave quietly.
I usually hunt from the ground during muzzleloader and gun, but I might take the climber this season.

This point I will agree with you on, (as opposed to storing boots and clothes together). Just got a Summit Razor. It is amazing how long I can sit without the urge to get up or get uncomfortable. Time seems to fly by a lot quicker when you are in a comfortable stand. FYI if you dont have the Summit foot rest, put one on. Best 30.00 you will spend (if you buy it from GNB)

I love my Viper and need to invest in the foot rest. Like I said best 30.00 you will spend all year. Gator-N-Buck has them 10.00 cheaper than BPS. Takes 10 minutes to install.

I had already got busted by that point ...is there a climbing stand competition somewhere?
They actually do have climbing stand competitions. I saw them once on TV.
I do agree Summits are very comfortable.

I enjoyed my climber until I got a tree saddle. Now I can hunt out of any tree in any location. The new muddy climbing sticks have made this form of hunting even more versatile.
